Lot further includes a 'Kings and Queens Who Made Britain Great' set of 16 plastic busts of British monarchs given away by Cleveland Petrol Stations in the early 1970s, with original plastic display case.
1950s gentlemen's Ebel Military Issue wristwatch with circular silvered dial, Arabic numerals, luminous hands and dots and subsidiary seconds dial, fifteen jewel Swiss movement, the case back with military numbers A.T.P. F00376, case 32mm diameter CONDITION REPORT The watch is currently working although we cannot guarantee the accuracy of its timekeeping. The plastic 'glass' has been burnt, possibly with a cigarette, and slightly melted. The EBEL lettering is in good condition. It doesnt appear to be restored or re-painted, seemingly very good original vintage condition but service history and restoration is unknown. The case is all stainless steel and not chromium plated. No obvious signs of pitting or corrosion to the exterior. We have not opened the case so are not able to give a comment about the movement or interior. No serious scratches or dents. Wear commensurate with age
1960s gentlemen's Omega gold wristwatch, the circular dial with satin finish, centre sweep seconds and baton hour markers in circular gold (9ct) case, on later Condor black leather strap with Omega gold (9ct) buckle, with original Omega guarantee stating movement no. 21527005, ref. BL1315418, dated 11-1-69, instruction manual and original receipt of purchase in Omega pouch CONDITION REPORT Good vintage condition, service history and restoration unknown. The watch is currently running although we cannot guarantee the accuracy of its timekeeping. The dial has a shallow dent, which is not immediately noticeable when viewed 'square-on' but can be seen when tilted. Case is in very good condition, no inscription. Not able to access the movement. The diameter of this watch is 33mm
Rare 1940s German World War II Luftwaffe pilots' chronograph wristwatch by Tutima Glashutte, the circular black dial with two subsidiary dials recording the seconds and minutes, with centre seconds hand in circular chromium plated brass case with reeded bezel, the nickel back plate numbered 205762, 38mm diameter of case CONDITION REPORT The watch is currently running, although not working properly. It does tick when given a gentle shake and then will run for a short period of a few minutes. The top button does stop the subsidiary seconds and start it again correctly. The winding crown does adjust and set the hands correctly. The winding crown has been worn and the 'grip' / lines have been crudely re-engraved. The dial is in good condition. The luminescent paint to the hands is still present. Minor surface dirt. Good vintage condition but service history and any restoration or repair is unknown. The cap / button to the top is missing and the button below the winding crown is missing altogether. The bars between the lugs are slightly bent. Case shows signs of wear commensurate with its history. We are not able to open the back so that we cannot guarantee that they match, we have no reason to doubt that they match.
