Horse racing, a 6x4 vintage press photo signed by Jockey John Buckingham, riding Foinavon, shock winner of the 1967 Grand National. Buckingham had never ridden in the Grand National when, a few days before the race in 1967, he was offered the ride on outsider Foinavon, a ride that had already been turned down by three jockeys. He won the Grand National at odds of 100/1 after the rest of the field fell, refused or were hampered or brought down in a mêlée at the 23rd fence. Date stamped Jul 1967 to back, three months after the race. Good condition. All autographs are genuine hand signed and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
