A vintage Nepalese / Gurkha Regiment Kukri knife dagger. Capped pommel in the form of a Lions head, carved horn grip inlaid with white metal detail. The blade of typical form housed in a leather wrapped scabbard with x1 of the Karda and Chakmak knives present. Measures approx 45cm.
Railwayana - a vintage brass Railway interest model of Stephenson's Rocket. The model well detailed, and mounted on a wooden plinth base with engraved plaque to front. Measures approx; 33cm long. Stephenson's Rocket is an early steam locomotive of 0-2-2 wheel arrangement. It was built for and won the Rainhill Trials of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway (L&MR), held in October 1829 to show that improved locomotives would be more efficient than stationary steam engines. Rocket was designed by Robert Stephenson in 1829, and built at the Forth Street Works of his company in Newcastle upon Tyne.
A vintage 20th Century Japanese style Katana sword having a ray skin effect grip of Bakelite construction with metal bound hilt and tsuba carved with scrolling motifs. The blade housed in a varnished wooden scabbard with furniture mounts. Measures approx 90cm.
A vintage 1970s (1978) Tower of London Commemorative Sword. A Limited Edition (of 500) issued to commemorate the 900th anniversary of Her Majesties Tower of London. Made by Wilkinson Sword and forged with a decorative steel blade and gold plated hilt. The mounted medallion is the official emblem of the Tower of London NoVo Centenary celebrations. Measures approx 106cm.
