Marx - A boxed vintage plastic friction powered Lois Marx 'Batmobile with siren'. This very rare model which was only released in the UK circa 1966. The hard plastic model with blue body, pink windscreen, has 'Batman' yellow and black transfers to both doors - left hand side transfer has been repositioned at some time, leaving some glue residue on the door, and the top of the transfer is peeling away from the body. The model comes with two plastic figures and plastic steering wheel. The black plastic tyres have yellow wheel hubs - and there's signs of melting to all. The front wheels turn and the friction mechanism operates - the back wheels are solid. The model measures approximately 27cms in length. There is a slight scuff on the underside of 'Batman's' door, otherwise the model appears to be in Excellent Plus condition, and gives the impression that it has experienced very little 'play'. The illustrated cardboard box has some signs of age wear, and storage related creasing, appearing to be in Very Good condition overall. A very bright, clean, and extremely hard to find example.
