A good vintage signed 6.5 x 10.5 photograph, being a reproduction of one of the artist's studies of a nude female, standing in a full length profile pose. Signed ('Renoir') in ink with his name alone to the lower border. Also signed by the Mayor of Cagnes beneath a short statement confirming the authenticity of Renoir's signature, dated 10th January 1911. Stamped Galerie Beyeler Paris in red to the upper margin alongside a small typed sticker indicating that the signature dates from 1946. VG
COCHET & VLASTO SERPIERI: COCHET HENRI (1901-1987) French Tennis Player, Wimbledon Champion 1927, 1929 & VLASTO SERPIERI JULIE (1903-1985) French Tennis Player, Olympic Silver medallist and doubles partner of Suzanne Lenglen. Vintage signed postcard photograph by both Cochet and Vlasto Serpieri individually, the image depicting the players standing in full length poses together at the side of a tennis court, each holding their rackets. Signed by Cochet ('H Cochet') and Vlasto Serpieri ('Diddie Vlasto') in bold, dark fountain pen inks with their names alone to clear areas of the image. VG Cochet & Vlasto Serpieri were runners-up in the Mixed Doubles of the French Championships in 1925, losing to Suzanne Lenglen and Jacques Brugnon.

KENNEDY JOHN F.: (1917-1963) American President 1961-63. A vintage signed printed 8vo menu, in the form of a booklet, for the Fifth Annual Banquet of the Weirtonian Club, Lodge No. 183, Order Italian Sons and Daughters of America, at the Weirton Community Centre, West Virginia, 1st May 1960. The menu features many pages of printed text including a biography of Kennedy and a programme of events including a principal address by Kennedy, at the time the US Senator from Massachusetts. Signed by Kennedy in blue ink with his name alone (a slightly hurried example of his signature) to a clear area of the front cover. VG The present menu was signed by Kennedy during his Presidential Election Campaign of 1960.

SYKES FREDERICK: (1877-1954) British Air Vice Marshal of World War I, later a statesman and politician who served as Governor of Bombay 1928-33. A good vintage signed 13 x 11 photograph, the image depicting Sykes and his wife, Isabel, seated in full length poses at the centre of twelve rows of residence and political staff and military guard (including a row of Lancers) in the grounds of the Governor's residence in Bombay.
