A large and varied selection of embroidered / printed military patches. Mostly modern British corps patches, along with some WW2 examples, and United States examples. To include amongst others: 45th Infantry Divsion, 44th Home Counties Division, 1st Corps HQ, 51st Highland Division, U.S 3rd EOD CO Okinawa Japan patch, U.S Ordnance Explosive Disposal Mobile Unit, 21st Army Group, 16 Airborne Brigade, Royal Engineers, Scottish District, Parachute Wings, and many others. 49 patches total (please note: not every patch is shown in the main image) Condition: generally good. The more vintage pieces have a little light soiling / fading to the fabric, with the 1st Corps HQ patch having a moth nip. Many of the modern patches appear to have had little to no wear.
A vintage Masonic sword and scabbard, by Spencer & Co, Great Queen Street, London. Dating from circa 1940, with blued hilt and floriate etched blade. Black painted scabbard, with blued metal throat and chape. Plus, 2 leather Masons pouches, named to Comp. Alan John King of the Bridgewater Chapter, and each containing fabric sashes, and paperwork dating from the period of circa 1939-1941. The sword measures 95.5cm in its scabbard, blade length 81.5cm. Condition: some wear commensurate with age and use. Some light scratching / scuffing to the painted and blued metalwork, plus some paint chips and bubbling of the paint of the scabbard. The blade is clean and in good condition. The leather pouches and contents are a little worn and stained in places.
A vintage Coldstream Guard tunic and Kings Crown belt. Red wool body, with dark blue facings and anodised buttons. Embroidered epaulette and collar badges. Complete with white leather belt (quite heavy with ‘blanco’), fitted with a brass buckle, which is displaying the Kings Crown, which would make it older than the tunic. Together with an officer’s Army Air Corps mess tunic, named to ‘Goodchild’ and dated June 1990, plus a matched waistcoat and trousers. 3 items. Condition: moth tracking and moth holes to the Guards tunic, mostly to the reverse side. Accompanying belt is in good order, but the old blanco is a little powdery on the surface. The waistcoat, Army Air Corps mess tunic and trousers are in good order.

A vintage South African pattern No.9 bayonet, complete with associated scabbard.Likely of 1960’s manufacture and made by the South African Armaments Corporation.Un-fullered blade with single edge to bottom part, and a shorter edge to the top of the blade.Parkerised finish and un-sharpened blade as issued.Complete with its steel scabbard, as originally utilised with the Uzi sub-machine gun bayonets. Length in scabbard 27.5cm, blade length 16.8cm. Condition: generally good.Much of parkerised finish remaining, some normal service wear to the scabbard. Also, a Belgian ‘Licot Namur’ machete, likely of 19th century manufacture. Of relatively crude form, with a double edged blade and a long narrow fuller to both sides, and the makers mark stamped into one side of the blade. Decagonal shaped wooden handle / pommel, with flattened brass and steel binding to the handle. Overall length 59.2cm, blade length 47cm. Condition: overall, well used. Heavily patinated blade, with evidence of sharpening to both sides. Wear to handle commensurate with age and use. Scabbard / sheath absent.

A quantity of vintage military used spacers, or ‘chocks’, used for securing heavy equipment for transportation. Made from panels of wood, screwed together forming a solid and strong block, and then painted grey with additional stencilled details to some. All are rectangular in form, and of various sizes. Could be used to aid to the display of other items. In excess of 40 pieces. Condition: service and age wear to all. Some paint loss and knocks in places, plus a few are missing some of the the screws holding them together.

A large sized vintage Union Jack flag (with some calling it a Union Flag if not on a Royal Navy warship), dated 1965 to the selvage. Panel stitched cotton construction, with reinforced selvage area. Maker mark of ‘ALN’ next to the date. Approximately 12.5 feet x 7.5 feet. A great display piece, if you’ve the room. Condition: generally good. No untoward damage, such as holes or rips to the fabric, just some minor pulls here and there Good strong colours, and good stitching. Just a little light wear from age and handling, and some light spots of soiling.
