Collected by the vendors mother (Eve), grandmother and great grandmother through the paternal grandfather line (at court) and thus by decent. A vintage 20th century hand carved African tribal walking stick. The stick ebonised, with ring handle top mounted atop elephant figure, this on support raised atop twin carved elephant heads with further barley twist decoration to body, painted in hues of red and green. Measures approx. 92cm long.

Each marked HS 034 to underside. Each plate measuring approx. 27cm in diameter.

Marked Metamec Dereham. Sold as untested. Larger (Ansonia clock) measures approx. 46cm x 33cm x 14cm.
