Matted in ivory and framed and glazed in the original frame to an overall size of 9.5 x 12. VG
FONTEYN MARGOT: (1919-1991) English Ballerina. Collection of twenty five vintage signed postcard photographs by Fonteyn, each showing her in various costume and dance poses from a variety of ballets including Giselle, Lac des Cygnes, Sleeping Beauty, Nocturne, The Haunted Ballroom etc., and some showing her with other dancers including Robert Helpmann, Alexis Rassine etc. All signed by Fonteyn with her name alone in fountain pen ink, largely to clear areas. KRAY REG: (1933-2000) English organised crime leader, with his twin brother Ron, in London in the 1950s and 1960s. Signed and inscribed birthday greetings card by Reg Kray, also signed by him on behalf of his brother Ron and two other individuals. The folding oblong 8vo card features a colour illustration of a vintage racing car to the front. Signed by Kray with his first name only and with a few additional words (`Enjoy Yourself!`) in his hand, dated 1993. Together with two newspaper clippings relating to the Kray twins, each signed and inscribed by Reg Kray with his first name only. FR to about VG, 3

The image depicts the couple seated together in a happy half length pose on the occasion of their marriage on 10th April 1935. Accompanied by an A.L.S., Nigel Bruce, one page, 8vo, Beverly Hills, California, 29th December 1943, to John Trevor, apologising for not having replied to his letter earlier, explaining `I had an operation on my leg 10 days ago & have only been allowed out just for the broadcast.` Very slight scuffing to one corner of the photograph, only affecting the white border, otherwise VG, 2
