A Victorian oak long case clock case. The hood with a swan neck pediment and the face flanked with columns, raised on bracket supports, H204cm Condition Report: Generally in good condition. Some knocks, wear and scratches consistent with age and usage. Would benefit from a good clean. The wood to one side of the hood has possibly been repaired, the long case has a repair to one side. The gilt details have possibly been retouched. One of the hinges of the hood has broken away and there is an area of loss to the wood. Hole to the back of the case (visible on the interior). Pediment present but unattached. No obvious signs of worm or damp.

The clock has come from a deceased estate.

The silvered dial is original and tarnished. The movement is complete and very good quality. Having original verge escapement and complete movment. The clock ticks and functions correctly but would advice the clock is cleaned and serviced. there is a piece of timber missing from the back of the clock. See extra images uploaded.

They have serviced it regularly and was working when we removed it from the premises. The case has a few small knocks on the mouldings and two small splits on the trunk door. Images have been uploaded. The dial has light marks on the silvering. The movement is clean and in good working condition with original pendulum. Comes with winding key and door keys.

There are no door keys.

The back board runs down and the base is all original. The moon mechanism is there and the clock does tick when pressure is added to the wheels but is very dirty and will require cleaning and servicing. Extra images uploaded. The mould on the bottom of the base is later and would originally have had bracket feet.

George III mahogany longcase clock, the hood with brass finial, swan neck pediment, turned columns, trunk with short door, box base on bracket feet, fourteen inch square brass dial with subsidiary seconds dial, signed Thomas Birchall, Nantwich, eight day movement striking on a bell, height 228cm, with two weights, pendulum and winding key.Condition report:Relatively new dial and hands, and the seatboard is new as well, suggesting the clock has bee repaired/ restored in recent past. The movement appears complete, and comes with pendulum, weights, and keys. Ol repairs and restorations to the case with the mahogany veneer splitting slightly in places, noticeably the door. Some of the crossbanding is replaced, some small sections have been chipped off and missing. Oak feet look relatively new. Some splitting to the veneer of the hood also.

George Dobbie, Falkirk, mahogany longcase clock, swan-neck pediment, Corinthian columns, long door, quarter columns, bracket feet, 13" arched brass dial, cast spandrels, silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date dial, eight-day movement striking on a bell, 232cm.Condition report:We cannot confirm if this clock is working. There are some cracks to the hood and bottom left panel. There are some indentations to the top left corner of the base and to the bottom right panel. Pendulum and weights are present.
