Small French ebonised mantel clock timepiece, the 2.75" white dial within an engraved gilded mask, within a stepped case, 6.5" high (pendulum); also a French ebonised two train bracket clock, the Japy Freres movement with outside countwheel and striking on a bell, inscribed Reid & Sons, Paris, the 4" square white dial within a canted case inlaid with brass lines and surmounted by a wavy cornice with brass carrying handle, 10.5" high (pendulum) (2)

Sampson, Penzance, enclosing a matted centre, within a stepped case surmounted by a caddy top and five gilded finials, 18.5" high (pendulum, key and winding hole bung)
A George III oak longcase clock, 13.5cm circular engraved brass dial, Roman chapter, subsidiary minute and date aperture, signed Harlow/Ashburn (sic), thirty-hour movement with countwheel striking on a bell, the hood with moulded outswept cornice and brass capped Doric columns, shaped rectangular top to trunk door, skirted base, bracket feet, 204cm high, c.1780Tjhe clock was made by Samuel Boulton Harlow (1751-1815), eldest son of Ashbourne clockmaker Joseph, although he was apprenticed to John Litton of Ashbourne 1767-1774, after which time he worked for a while at Birmingham before returning to Ashbourne where he sold clockmaking materials, made clocks to a high standard, as well as watches, and was the inventor in 1794 of a key to save breakages of watch springs (a device often attributed to Breguet). This relatively prolific family continued as clockmakers at Ashbourne for a further two generations. Condition Report: Dial has been restored, movement cleaned.

Crawford, Scarboro, an 18th/19th century mahogany longcase clock, the eight day movement with arched brass and silvered dial with a polychrome man-o-war moonphase to the arch over subsidiary seconds and dated apertures, the case with arched door centred by a satinwood batwing oval with unusual central keyhole, on shaped bracket feet, 242 cm Condition Report case good, appears original, the pillar inserts are hardwood, perhaps a rosewood not brass, moonphase connected and rotating, weights are standard pattern (not brass sleeved), winding key present
Josiah Bartholomew, Clerkenwell, a George III figured mahogany bracket clock, the 8-day twin fusee movement striking the hours on a bell and pull cord repeat, the arched enamelled dial with slow/fast regulator over subsidiary seconds and strike/silent and unusually dated '1797', with gilt hands, the case with brass fret cut side panels and raised on bracket feet, 45.5 cm highNotes: to/w clock repairers records late 1990's to date, these record the movement is signed and date stamped repeatedly on the back of the dial, on the front plate, scratch signed on both dial back and front plate, the inside of the bell also. Listed in Bailey/Britten as from 1799-1847, therefore making this example one of the makers earliest clocks and hence presumably explains the multi-signing due to 'pride'. Condition Report excellent fully restored/maintained, the pendulum rise/fall a later alteration/addition, the case missing a single small veneer section to top approx. 1 cm. Not sold as running

An early 20th century hardwood cased mantel clock, having striking double fusee movement, the circular enamel dial bearing Roman numerals within a Chinese decorated brass plate, pierced fretwork and semi-glazed side panels on bracket type supports (40 x 26.5 x 22.5cm). Condition Report: Good cosmetic condition with minor age related wear. Appears to be in working order. Horizontal panel at the bottom front of the base is loose and needs repair.
An early 19th century dome topped double fusee repeating bracket clock, the dial bearing Roman numerals and signed James McCabe, Royal Exchange, London, having glazed rear door and brass inset fretwork panels to the side on four gilt ball supports (48cm handle up). Condition Report: One of the fusee chains has been replaced with gut, otherwise it appears to be in good, wording order. Crazing to the dial. Some losses to the case (ie veneer) and light scratches in places.
