Shaped glazed front with silvered metal clock face, Roman numerals to the chapter ring with calendar aperture below and 'Evill & Co. Bath' to centre. Trike / Silent ring above. All decorated with foliate swags and classical inspired black etched motifs. Open glazed sides and back. The clock movement hand etched with further details to back with twin fusee verge movement. Raised on brass bracket feet, on matching plinth base. Key present. Measures approx. 39cm x 30cm x 20cm.
A George III West Country mahogany cased John Blackford Plymouth Docks eight-day maritime longcase grandfather clock. The clock having three brass finials atop over a glazed front hood with reeded columns to sides. The clock face having a half moon shaped painted top with Man o'War ships over an enamelled 8-day movement face with Arabic numerals to the chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture. Painted shell motifs to each corner. The body having a panelled front door raised on bracket feet. Measures approx. 205cm x 46cm x 24cm.
A large Louis XV inspired 19th century circa 1880s Japy Freres, Paris ormolu-mounted, brass-inlaid, tortoiseshell and boulle marquetry bracket mantel clock with ogee bracket. The clock having a gilt metal male figure sitting on globe holding a scroll and bag. Canted pediment below with scrolled ormolu embellishments to corners. Circular white & blue enamelled circular clock face with Roman numerals to chapter ring enclosed in gilt metal cartouche. All behind a glazed front flanked by a curved case with further acanthus leaves embellishments and inlays. Checked Trompe-l'œil floor to inside with matching boulle decoration to inside of back door. The front enriched by a gilt metal in relief of possibly Athena with shield and spear with two cherubs. Raised on ormolu foliate supports. The 8-day clock movement stamped Japy Freres, Paris to back with H & F, Paris above. Number 8871 to movement and back plate. The clock all raised on matching ogee clock wall bracket gilt metal ormolu embellishments to corners in the shape of female heads and scrolled acanthus leaf to bottom. With pendulum. Clock measures approx. 100cm x 48cm x 20cm, bracket measures approx. 34cm x 48cm x 26cm.

Carved longcase clock, square brass dial, signed Richard Gilkes, Adderbury, silvered chapter-ring, eight-day two-chain movement, adapted case, triple finial over carved door and plinth, bracket feet, 225cm overall.Condition report:Pendulum is present but no weights, no case key and the trunk is currently locked. The movement looks complete and in relatively good order but not tested. Some corrosion to the chapter ring (near III). The case is good overall, no significant issues.

An Oak cased Longcase Clock having a 30 hour movement, striking the hours on a bell, the painted arched dial having Roman numerals inset semi- circular date window, the arch with a river scene with a seven arched bridge leading to a castle on the bank, the corners each with a small scene of a bridge traversing a river and with the maker's name Dan'll Williams, Builth. The hood has a scroll pediment and a finial with a sphere surmounted by an Eagle, there is a shaped door flanked by reeded quarter-round corners and the case stands on bracket feet (ran briefly during lotting). The minute hand requires re-soldering but is present, 86 1/4" high x 19 1/8" wide x 10" deep.

ARCHIBALD KNOX (MANX, 1864-1933) FOR LIBERTY & CO., 'CYMRIC' SILVER MANTEL CLOCK, BIRMINGHAM 1901 with two train eight day movement by A.D. Mougin, stiking on two coils, the high fired enamel dial with Roman numeral XII, V and motto TIME ENOUGH, the lancet case with shaped apron, on bracket feet22cm high, 15.5cm wide, 8.5cm deepQty: 1894g grossCondition good to fair. Light wear as per use and age, including tarnish. Dent to left hand side. Other minor nicks and dings present, though nothing of real concern. Both hands slightly misshapen. Clock appears overwound, accessing the back the mainspring starts but then stops, movement will therefor require attention. Hammers do move freely when lifted. Additonal images illustrating full clock are now available.Enamel is generally good. No apparent damages, some very light wear when scrutinised under light, tarnish and would benefit from clean. Back of case has not been attended by solder.
