A most attractive Rose veined Marble Bracket/Mantel Clock of French architectural design, the two train movement having Arabic numerals to a brass chapter ring, the nice quality brass mechanism striking the hours and half hours on a gong, the case having a dome, flanked to either side by three pillars, an upper ormolu frieze depicting in relief cherubs/puttoes hanging floral garlands whilst a similar lower frieze depicts a scene with figures on horseback and hounds hunting wild board. The movement numbered 3858 48 having a ''Marque Depose'' stamp, complete with winding and regulating keys. 12'' wide, 6'' deep x 13 1/2'' high approx.
