CONDITION REPORT: Dial size is 10.25 inches. There is a David Compigne clock maker listed as operating in Winchester in 1718. Nothing more is known about this clock maker. Dial and movement are associated to the case. The lower half of the plinth is replaced. There are some old repairs.

CONDITION REPORT: Weights and pendulum present.

An unusual 19th century mahogany and boxwood strung sedan mantel clock, the white enamel dial set with Roman numerals within an outswept shaped case and raised on brass ogee bracket feet, height 26.25cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are four chips to the edge of the dial barely visible when the cover is closed. There is also a crack between 10 and 11 and a few surface scratches. The case is of good colour with minor old repairs. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.
