DAVID COMPIGNE OF WINTON; A George III oak longcase clock, the brass square dial set with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, inscribed "Compigne Winton", flanked by two ring turned pilasters above single door with circular glazed aperture, on pedestal base with ogee bracket feet, height 201cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial size is 10.25 inches. There is a David Compigne clock maker listed as operating in Winchester in 1718. Nothing more is known about this clock maker. Dial and movement are associated to the case. The lower half of the plinth is replaced. There are some old repairs.

CONDITION REPORT: Weights and pendulum present.
An unusual 19th century mahogany and boxwood strung sedan mantel clock, the white enamel dial set with Roman numerals within an outswept shaped case and raised on brass ogee bracket feet, height 26.25cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are four chips to the edge of the dial barely visible when the cover is closed. There is also a crack between 10 and 11 and a few surface scratches. The case is of good colour with minor old repairs. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.
A late 19th century oak Gothic bracket clock, the shaped case set with a brass dial inscribed "Maple & Co Ltd, London", beneath chime/silent and slow/fast subsidiary dials, housing a twin fusee eight day movement, flanked by fluted columns above a stepped rectangular base, height 38cm. A fine triple train bracket clock by Lambert, Coventry Street, the case veneered to simulate tortoiseshell and with chased gilt bronze mounts, the dial with chime and silent silvered dial and 'Cambridge chimes'/'chime on eight bells' silvered dial, within chased gilt brass spandrels and a silvered chapter ring, the whole with flambeau finials and chased gilt bronze feet, the back plate and pendulum bob engraved, height 55cm.
