A large 19th century Victorian antique brass cased alarm carriage clock having an oval enamel face over subsidiary second dial to front set within chased spandrel surround. The French twin barrel movement striking on a gong with platform escapement. The case standing on an ogee bracket plinth base and good chased carry handle. 16cms High (inc handle)
An early Victorian mahogany bracket clock, the domed case with circular dial set with Roman numerals inscribed "J Schwerer Truro", above a foliate scroll carved decorated base with twin fusee eight day movement and with original bracket with double C-scroll support, height of clock 41.5cm, height of bracket 38.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Piece of foliate scroll missing from front, some minor cracks to case.
An early 20th century walnut cased and gilt metal mounted German eight day mantel clock, the arched dial set with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals between slow/fast dial with pierced gilt metal grilles and raised on scrolling bracket feet, height 40cm. An early 19th century oak long case clock, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above square dial with silvered chapter ring set with Roman numerals and central plate inscribed "Jas Buttler, Bolton" with eight day movement and date aperture above the case, with long arched door flanked by quarter cut pilasters to a plinth base and bracket feet, height approx 117cm.
A 19TH CENTURY AND LATER EIGHT-DAY LONG CASE CLOCK having a broken swan-neck pediment with flower-head terminals and giltwood finials, an arched glazed hood door and protruding reeded columns with dentil moulding, the shaped trunk door between reeded quarter columns, the panelled base raised on short bracket feet, the arch of the dial engraved with name ~Alex Picken, Glasgow~ over a chapter ring of Roman hours and Arabic seconds, and two winding apertures, all framed by engraved spandrels. 225cm(h) Dual movement and seat board appear later replacements, marks and scratches, repair to base edge, veneer repairs, some minor depletions, rear feet missing, front feet depleted, some worm damage, viewing advised.
