Large areas of dust, fingers have been bent and are rusting, the main body is missing three of the bracket feet to fix into the marble plinth base. A late 19c German bracket clock by Lenzkirch in burr maple bell top case. The 12.5cm arched dial is signed for the retailer Botley & Lweis, Reading and has a silvered chapter ring and gilt spandrels. The glazed front door is flanked by canted columns and the sides have timber sound frets. The top has a carrying handle and brass corner finials and the bracket feet are of brass. The two train barrelled spring movement tingtang strikes on two gongs. 40.5cm tall overall.
An English Edwardian miniature longcase clock in high quality mahogany case with swan neck pediments to the hood and central urn finial. There is an area of carved decoration above the arched dial and freestanding fluted columns flank the 19cm brass arched dial which has Turks head spandrels and a strike/silent dial in the arch. The long trunk door has a wavy top and is flanked by fluted quarter columns. The base has canted corners and an applied front panel with indented corners and has bracket feet. The substantial weight driven movement has anchor escapement and is rack striking on a gong and the weights are brass bound. The clock stands 155cm tall.
