The 13 inch painted dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary date and seconds dials, the spandrels painted with pastoral scenes and the arch depicting Melross Abbey, with twin train movement, the hood with a broken swan neck pediment, the glazed door flanked by columns, the arched trunk door also flanked by columns, on a box base and shaped bracket feet.
