Two train movement, striking on five gongs. 49cm high approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: With pendulum. The case worn, scuffed and marked in places. Wear to the face, rather grubby.
19TH CENTURY WELSH MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK by Jonathan Morgan of Narberth, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by yellow metal mounted reeded vertical columns, strung inlaid waist door flanked by canted angles on a strung inlaid panel base with outswept bracket feet. Painted face with floral spandrels and arch, Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. The face is 58 x 29cm approx. Eight day two train movement, strikes on one bell. Overall 228cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Case is a little worn and tired but appears complete. The face is grubby and worn with some letters not legible. Seconds dial missing. Movement very grubby, dusty and unloved.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY OAK AND MAHOGANY TWO TRAIN LONGCASE CLOCK by George Donisthorpe of Birmingham, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above square aperture flanked by yellow metal mounted reeded pilasters, the waist with cross banded and shell inlaid door flanked by quarter reeded pilasters on a panelled base with bracket feet. 29cm square approx engraved brass face with Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. Two train movement striking on one steel bell. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good condition. The hood is all mahogany. The rest of the carcass is oak with mahogany cross banding. Vertical split to base. Includes two weights, pendulum.
19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD TWO TRAIN BRACKET CLOCK having arch case with floral and foliate mouldings, brass inlaid scroll work and bun feet. Circular painted face with Roman numerals. Unmarked brass twin fusee movement, originally striking on one bell, lacks pediment, side loop handles and bell. 48cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Requiring restoration. The case lacks its bronze pediment and loop handles. The case has splits in places. Some of the brass inlay is lifting and there are losses to that panel. Lacks its original bell. Rather grubby overall.
A 20th century gravity clock, with a black ground populated with yellow painted Arabic numerals with original painted hands, in a glazed tinplate case on a swept ebonised wooden stand on squared bracket feet, attributed to Thomas Watson & Christopher Webb, (indistinct badge applied verso) c1925, 26.5 cm high, the dial measuring 26.5 cm.

A 19thC mahogany bracket clock of large proportion, surmounted by an inverted section with orb finial, above a domed case set with four further orb finials, flanked by lion mask and ring handles, with blind fret metal sides and an inlaid front, set with a diamond patera, on orb feet, the 22cm W arched dial with Roman numerals, signed Thos Nelson Market Deeping, with chime and non-chime feature playing seven tunes to include New Waterman, East To Him, Garland of Love, etc. double fusee movement striking on bells, airs and a gong to the hour, playing a tune for each day of the week, with door and winding keys and pendulum, 79cm H. Thomas Nelson is noted Lincolnshire Clock, Watch and Barometer Makers, A.S.H. Wilbourn and R Ellis, p.69. Clock and watchmaker 1811-1823 (P.1822-1823). LR&SM Friday, December 27th, 1811. T. The exquisite case having central glazed door with fret pierced spandrels to corners and panels to sides. Stepped top with turned brass swing handles and ormolu acorn finial top. The ormolu brass dial having a silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with faceted hands. Front pendulum over signed makers name with day aperture and separate seconds dial above. The rear having a second glazed door opening to reveal a large gilded vergee movement decorated with scrolls. The clock striking on multiple bells and music cylinder plastering Britain Strike Home and The King. Measures 50cm x 29cm x 20cm.
