The case is in good condition, appears free from cracks or restoration. The decoration is showing light signs of wear. All feet are present.

A silvered dial with makers name, "chime silent", "eight bells Cambridge", subsidiary dials. Silvered edged surround. 8" x 10" with shallow arch dial, bevelled glass to front door.Contained in a oak case with carvings fretwork sound panels to the sides and back with silk screens. Architectural pediment / bracket with central carving depicting the Masonic Lamb (Paschal Lamb / Agnus Dei) ( slight damage). With its original oak bracket with carvings.Note : Charles Robotham recorded as a member of the Society of Leicestershire Watch and Clockmakers in 1795 Dimensions, without bracket 16" x 24" x 10". Bracket measures 18" x 14" x 11"Condition report. Case pediment broken architrave to top of case has come off but present. Serviced by vendor see receipts. Looks to all original movement not fully tested
A late 19th Century oak bracket clock carved in the Aesthetic taste, with spindle gallery over pilaster supports either side of the brass dial with silvered chapter ring, bearing presentation plaque dated October 1889, the eight-day quarter strike movement stamped Winterhalder and Hofmeier, height 40cm and width 27cm, some damage.
JOHN PETER DU PORT, GUERNSEY; a 19th century eight day musical longcase clock, the brass face set with moon phase and silvered chaptered dial set with Arabic and Roman numerals and subsidiary dial, within a mahogany case with gilt metal finials and eagle, and column terminals above the shaped door on bracket feet, height 229cm.Condition Report: Complete with key pendulum and three weights. Case hood is warped so slightly stiff when removing. Case has been extensively restored with replacement parts, arch on dial is slightly leaning back, we offer no guarantee of working order. Case door is possibly a replacement, as it is oak and warped, replacement footboard (see additional images).
Oak longcase clock, the hood with cavetto moulded cornice, turned columns, trunk with long arched door, bracket feet, eleven inch square brass dial, signed John Waltham Sickell, Kingsbridge, eight day movement striking on a bell, with pendulum, two weights and winding key.Condition report:Appears complete and working although not set up fully in the saleroom. The movement is very clean, presumably it has been relatively recently serviced and kept clean. The seat board is a replacement with new crews keeping it in place. The chapter ring is painted with a cream finish and then with black enamelled numerals and markers. The catgut lines are fraying slightly. Repairs to the hood cornice. WOrm throughout the back panel. The rest of the case is in good order, some splitting to the base panel, historic repairs to the feet.
