A late 17th Century ebonised bracket clock, John Clowes of London, the case having a caddy top, gilt metal mounts, side and rear glazed apertures, on a stepped plinth base, the dial with winged cherub spandrels surrounding a silvered Roman chapter ring, having a striking twin fusee two train movement, altogether measuring 40cm tall, with key the clock movement has been adapted, and has a later pendulum and anchor escapement, upper left corner of case with depletiion, movement strikes and operates for a short period when lightly wound and pendulum moved. the movement is fixed within the case chapter ring diameter 16.5cm dial measurments 18cm x 19.5cm

FRENCH MANTEL CLOCK IN THE LOUIS XV TASTE, 19TH CENTURY the enamelled chapter ring set with Roman numerals, signed C.J. Champion a Paris, the tortoiseshell case with inlaid brass, the top with gilt metal putto finial, presented with gilt metal mounted bracket the clock 57cm high No key present, does wind and tick at present. Damage to foot of putto. Further damages, losses to brass and tortoiseshell. Base will need resecured, as will right side glass pane. Bracket with more notable damages, and restoration. A late 18th century rosewood inlaid bracket clock, 8-day, with round enamel face and Roman numerals. The maker's name is too rubbed to identify but from London and it is in a rosewood case, 40cm x 28cm x 14cm, with brass floral inlay, handles to sides, pineapple finial and ball feet. It has a few issues.

There are also local records that list a clockmaker by the name of W. Adams as being in Conock in c.1738. While it is a very well made clock for one made in the provinces and it unusual for the backplate and dial to be inscribed for the owner rather than the maker, it would seem likely that Isaac Warriner commissioned a clock from the aforementioned Mr Adams while in residency at Conock Manor.

Housed in a mahogany case, the hood with a swan neck pediment surmounted by three brass finials plus bird marquetry, brass roundels and boxwood stringing, the glazed door flanked by fluted brass capped columns. Trunk with a shaped door flanked by quartered columns and below garland marquetry, box base with chamfered corners on bracket feet.259cm highPlease see all additional photographs. The clock ticks and strikes every quarter on the carillon, the hour strike is operational however it continuously strikes and therefore will require some work to operate correctly.
