With pendulum and key.Clock cases such as this reflect the mid Victorian gothic revival period championed by the Victorian architects Augustus Pugin, George Gilbert Scott and Charles Barry. Greatly inspired by the building of the New Houses of Parliament and other public buildings erected at the time in the revived gothic style.
