Tarnishing throughout, minor polish holes are evident. The easel back of one of the silver ones has been broken away, but is still present and it is lacking the glass front. Minor knocks and dents.

ALBERT EDWARD JONES; an Arts and Crafts silver plated mantel clock with applied square cartouches each with floral detail surrounding a circular dial with Roman numerals, signed Kendal & Dent, London, flanked by Corinthian columns, length 28m, height 16cm.Additional InformationHeavy wear to the case, wear to the plate tarnishing, possibly missing feet, complete with key, the spring balance appears to run when key was turned although we offer no guarantee of the working of any clock, light staining to the dial.

MATTHEW NORMAN FOR HAMILTON & INCHES OF EDINBURGH; a good and large oval brass cased repeating carriage clock, the silvered circular dial set with Roman numerals above day, date and month apertures, with eleven jewel movement striking on a coil, backplate signed and numbered 1751/81, the case with bright cut foliate scroll decoration, height excluding swing handle 14.5cm.Additional InformationRuns when wound although no guarantee of working order, some light wear but otherwise appears in good condition. There is no paperwork or box, it does come with its key, the glass panels do appear good, perhaps some very tiny nibbles in places, but otherwise no other visible damage.

A good brass skeleton clock, the silvered dial set with Roman numerals, with fusee movement striking on a bell, height 39cm, presented on ebonised plinth base beneath a glass dome (dome af), with pendulum and key, also a clock face set with Arabic and Roman numerals, purportedly from a clock that hung on a balcony of St Paul's Church before its demolition, diameter 50.7cm (2).Additional InformationDome cracked. Clock does run but no guarantee of working order. Some rubbing to the finish of the dial. Further tarnish, some surface pitting, nicks, cast imperfections, etc, to the brass. The St Paul's clock face has had some details inscribed to the face of the clock by someone. Crazing, rubbing to the detail, staining and discolouration.

JAPY FRERES; a good and large late 19th century French gilt metal eight day mantel clock with jewelled and pierced porcelain lidded surmount and dial, set with Roman numerals, striking on a bell, presented beneath a clear glass dome on stepped and gilt base to ebonised plinth, the clock height 41cm, width 27.3cm, depth 17cm, with key and pendulum.Additional InformationThere is no guarantee of working order, no visible marks, there is some tarnish, discolouration and rubbing to the decoration, some loss to enamelled jewels particularly to the lid of the urn, scuffs and scrapes to the gilt base, particularly to the corners, the ebonised plinth heavily worn with splits and rubbing to ebonised finish, the glass dome with the usual  nibbles and fritting to the base, otherwise some overall dirt and dust.

A late 19th century French ormolu Rococo-style eight day mantel clock, the porcelain dial set with Arabic and Roman numerals, the body with pierced grilles, the movement striking on a gong and back plate numbered 2636, with pendulum and key, height 33cm, width 18cm, depth 11.3cm.Additional InformationNot tested, no guarantee of working order, dirt, dust rubbing and some tarnish and discolouration to the ormolu finish, dial also with dirt and discolouration and a scratch to the twelve o'clock section, some further blemishes, some casting imperfections, the right hand grille slightly loose it its fitting.

JAPY FRERES; a late 19th century French ormolu eight day mantel clock with Servres-style porcelain mounts, urn surmount and applied swags on four cast knopped feet, striking on a bell, with pendulum, presented on an ebonised plinth, clock height 45cm, width 28cm, depth 13.5cm.Additional InformationNot tested, there is no guarantee of working order, some rubbing, tarnish and discolouration to the gilt and porcelain mounts, a build up of dirt and dust, some casting flaws and imperfections, ebonised plinth with usual wear, scuffs, scrapes, small losses, etc, clock apparently unmarked.

A gilt metal anniversary clock, the circular dial set with Arabic numerals, the back plate no.156720, on circular base and presented beneath clear glass dome, height 26cm.Additional InformationNot tested, no guarantee of working order, tarnish, rubbing, discolouration, further dirt and dust, fritting and nibbles to the base of the clear glass dome.

A late 19th century French rouge marble and black slate mantel clock, the white enamelled dial set with Roman numerals housing an eight day movement with Slow/Fast button, width 44.5cm, sold with pendulum and winding key.Additional InformationScratches to the glass and a couple of tiny surface scratches to the white enamel. The case itself is basically in good order, it strikes on a bell. Not guaranteed to be in working order. It is not running, feels close to being over wound, cannot test further, does not appear to be any damage to the springs, but asume the movement will need attention and restoration.
