~ A green Japanned eight day longcase clock, signed Daniel Catlin, Lynn Regis, circa 1770, arch pediment, case with gilt painted scenes depicting figures in pagodas and birds amongst foliage, 12-inch arch brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, seconds dial, silvered plaque signed, arch with rocking ''Tempus Fugit'', four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, possibly later case, 225cm high . 21.08.19 Pagoda pediment has been reduced, later finials, case with chips and cracks and scratches in parts, painted surfaces are rubbed and faded, dial is discoloured, movement needs cleaning, extra added wooden blocks to both sides of the case cheeks, possibly later case, with pendulum and two weights, pendulum suspension spring is missing.
