A LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY THREE TRAIN MUSICAL LONGCASE CLOCK, IN THE SHERATON REVIVAL TASTE BY MAPLE AND CO, LONDON, the lacquered brass dial with maidens head spandrels, a subsidiary seconds dial and pierced steel hands, with matted centre and three winding holes, plated movement striking on bells and a three inch musical pin barrel, the case with a satinwood fan and lyre pediment, above an inlaid frieze flanked by carved and reeded columns, the profusely inlaid door with cornucopia and flower sprays, the case crossbanded in East Indian satinwood with acanthus inlaid wings, standing on a mahogany and satinwood inlaid base, flanked by further turned and carved columns, twelve inch square dial, 91in high.
