External appearance of case with various wear, scuffs and chips, some splits and cracks, craqueleure to finish, various chips and losses to pilaster decoration, various chips and losses some of which appear to have been fillered/painted in and others are chips and losses with blue paint showing beneath. Lower half of the base section has been replaced / restored, and re-painted and re-decorated, the painting to this section is flat, whereas the earlier decoration above it is in slightly raised relief.

An early 18th Century walnut cased longcase clock, the arched hood with blind fretwork frieze above an arched glazed panelled door flanked by turned tapering brass capped pilasters, the main body with arched panelled door and feather banding on similarly decorated base with plain plinth, the arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Arabic and Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture on a matted ground within mask head and applied floral scrolling spandrels, to the arched strike/silent dial with applied dolphin and floral scroll decoration to an eight day striking movement on a bell, inscribed "John Ellicot, London", 244 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS Hands with some mis-shaping and scratching. Not known whether movement is in working order. Case with new mouldings to base and door, various areas of patched in veneer, movement appears to be OK but strike silent has been altered, brass cased weights, case with general wear and scuffs, numerous areas of age splits and cracks to the veneers (probably due to movement in carcass and to ageing/drying) including a lot of splits around the base, to door, sides, etc. Several areas of moulding missing and several areas of moulding warped and/or lifting, some areas of veneer missing. Some losses to the carcass to rear. Various cracks, splits and losses to the carved frieze to the hood and some sections of moulding missing. Some wear and scuffs to dial with scratches and tarnish. This lot is from a private vendor and was inherited from grandparents as a family piece by the current vendor. Ellicot is spelt with one t on the inscription to the dial.

A George III mahogany longcase clock, the arched moulded cornice with central vacant cartouche, glazed door flanked by fluted pilasters to a shaped trunk door flanked by three quarter pilaster columns to a fielded panelled base on ogee bracket feet, the arched dial with silvered chapter ring, Arabic and Roman numerals, engraved matted centre with secondary dial to the arch and moon phase inscribed "James Foster, Sutton" to an eight day striking movement on a bell, 242 cm high (case very damaged and with losses throughout - for restoration) CONDITION REPORTS Case very damaged throughout and with losses - for restoration. Clock is broken into numerous pieces and currently some parts of it are propped up in order to give an idea of its appearance. There are some parts of the clock case and hood missing. Wear, scuffs, knocks and chips, damage and losses. Door with cracks and losses. Large areas of moulding missing, and various sections missing. Splits and breaks. Bracket foot base with chips and losses and, as with the rest of the clock, it is broken, cracked and separated at joins. Cracks and various age cracks throughout including to pilasters. Some old worm holes. Some chips and losses and sections missing. Some dirt and mould to surfaces. Mould to interior., and lock appears to be missing. Some losses to mouldings. Moon face with quite a lot of scuffs, scratches and losses to decoration. Dial generally with quite heavy wear, scuffs, scratches and tarnish. Pendulum with rusting and tarnish and fitments loose. Weights appear to have repairs / . additional areas of metal added. No etched glass panels. Arched top (not swan neck pediment) and one side of top (arched) section appears to be missing. The two tall fluted pilasters which would fit either side of the door are present, but some sections (eg capitals) appear to be missing. Please see photos. There is no provenance available with this lot.

The Tudor Prince Oysterdate Submariner wristwatch comes with all boxes and papers, including the original guarantee, which states the Model Number is 160, and the Serial No is B678012. It was purchased on the 29 January 1996, from the Rolex Watch Company Limited, Heath End Road, Bexley, Kent, DA5 2AA. The watch appears to be in extremely good condition, and according to the vendor has never been worn. There is also another serial number attached to the guarantee which is 75090. It is an automatic. Report by MW The Tudor Prince Oysterdate Submariner is the mid size, it is not the full sized watch, it has an original bracelet, and it comes with all paperwork, and boxes and outer packaging.

Requires total restoration.
