Swedish birch longcase clock, the circular hood with carved lunette pediment, trunk with long door, plinth base, stringing throughout, 31cm circular painted dial signed A Andersen, eight day movement striking on a bell, height 222cm, with pendulum and weights.Condition report:The condition is generally good, case is an even colour, some small splits and patina, minor scuffs around the plinth and one one side corner of veneer loss, left back corner has veneer split and lifting but is there. dial is slightly discoloured around the edge, a couple of minor scratches but clear, the movement is complete, has had new cord for the weights, comes with two weights and a pendulum, movement does strike the correct time but does not run for very long, probably due to temporary setup here in the saleroom.
Charles Frodsham Jubilee commemorative silver miniature carriage clock, London 1977, cast case, rectangular enamelled dial, timepiece movement, base numbered 854, 11cm.Condition report:There is no key and I don't have one of the correct size to wind it. The escapement does move when shaken. The case, glass and dial are all in good condition.
