Emile Egger of Interlaken 19th century Black Forest farmhouse clock and music box striking on a chime with label verso, 60cm wide and 44cm high.  CONDITION REPORT: Has woodworm throughout.  Spring is fully wound.  Cylinder will not play.  No tune sheet.  On the right hand side there is fence and balustrade lacking.  There is a small section of the central shutters lacking.  The ear to the right sheep is lacking.  Head to the animal on left lacking.

Vale Of Glamorgan Railway 12in oak cased railway clock with a chain driven English fusee movement. The original dial is lettered GWR and visible as ghosted writing is BARRY & SONS, CARDIFF, V of G.R.Co. The case is in excellent condition and retains its GWR ivorine numberplate 2701 on the left hand side. In working condition complete with pendulum and key. An exceptionally rare clock. The Vale of Glamorgan line was opened on the 1st December 1897 between Barry and Bridgend and was worked exclusively by the Barry Railway until the Grouping in 1922.

North Eastern Railway 12in oak cased drop dial railway clock with a chain driven fusee movement. Supplied to the NER circa 1870 by Potts & Sons of Leeds. The dial has BR and 6189 painted on and the cases' two side doors both retain NER clock labels with the location Thornaby and dates 1908 and 1911. The case is also stamped NER 264. The LNER clock records show this clock as last being in use at Grimesthorpe Yard Master and was NER clock number 264 and had been previously at Thornaby. In nicely restored condition complete with pendulum and key.

Great Northern Railway 8in mahogany cased railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement. The dial has been restored back to its original pre grouping dial writing by Dr D.R. Parr and now reads G.N.R. 382 JNo WALKER 68 CORNHILL & 230 REGENT ST LONDON. The case is in good lightly cleaned original condition with a bottom door secured with a lock and one side door and still retains its original cast bezel. The LNER records supplied by Dr Parr together with a letter confirm this clock was last in railway service at Old Leake signal box. A nice clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key.

Midland Railway 12in dial mahogany cased railway clock. The silvered dial is engraved and black wax filled JNO WALKER 77 CORNHILL & 230 REGENT ST LONDON 5533 and features time regulation from the front. The typical Walker English fusee movement is mounted to the dial with screwed in pillars. The ornately carved mahogany case with fancy shaped drop also retains its original cast brass bezel. The LMS numberplate has been removed but its shadow can clearly be seen. A rare and impressive Midland clock thought to have been in use at St Pancras Station. Complete with pendulum and key and in working condition.

Midland Railway 12in dial longcase clock by Reuben Bosworth of Nottingham. The original case with arched pediment hood and front opening door retains its original brass LMS oval numberplate 11899. The original dial has had the black work restored and the A frame weight driven movement has been recently overhauled and retains its original steel pendulum rod. A rare clock and certainly the most original of this style clock known to survive. It was last in railway service at Southwell. Stands 54in tall and is complete with pendulum, key and weight.

North Eastern Railway 10in oak cased railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement supplied by Potts & Sons of Leeds circa 1880. The movement has shaped shoulders and cut out to the bottom has recently had a new fusee wire fitted. The original dial shows LNER 2704 which has worn off but also visible as ghosted writing is W. POTTS & SONS LEEDS NER 695. The case has two side doors and a bottom door. The LNER clock records show this clock as last being in service at Darlington Bank Top Station Park Gate Cabin and was NER clock number 695. In good working condition complete with pendulum and key.

Bristol and Exeter Railway 18in mahogany cased drop dial trunk fusee clock supplied by Dell Brothers of Bristol circa 1860. The English wire driven fusee movement with large rectangular plates, turned ringed pillars and counter balance to minute hand is stamped 19637, as is the steel pendulum rod. The movement is fitted via a false plate to the dial. The mahogany trunk case with flame mahogany veneer to the front, two side doors and a bottom door secured with a lock, is nicely cleaned and restored. The GWR ivorine numberplate 2452 is secured to the front. The clock has been overhauled and serviced and is complete with pendulum and key. Its last known location in service was Bridgwater station. A rare and desirable clock.

North British Railway 13in mahogany cased drop dial railway clock supplied to the NBR circa 1900 by Seth Thomas of Connecticut USA. The dial has been restored and the case still retains its original Seth Thomas label and LNER ivorine numberplate 16037. Unfortunately the LNER Scottish Clock Records were lost a long time ago so we can't trace its service location. Complete with pendulum and key.

London and South Western Railway 8 inch Mahogany cased iron dial drop dial fusee clock with a spun brass bezel supplied to the LSWR circa 1898 by J.F Fox (late Gaydon) of Barnstaple. The English wire driven fusee movement with rectangular plates held together by turned screwed pillars, is in good condition. The white enamel painted dial has been restored to its pre grouping dial writing L&SWR J.F. Fox BARNSTAPLE 159. The Southern Railway clock records show that this was supplied circa 1898 and was last recorded in use at Tamerton Foliot station platform which was a station between Bere Ferrers and St. Budeaux. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and keys.

Great Western Railway 12in oak cased railway clock with a wire driven English fusee movement. The original dial has been repainted by the British Railways Western Region and was lettered BR-W this has subsequently been rubbed off but is visible as ghosted writing. The case is in excellent condition and retains its GWR ivorine numberplate 3686 on the left hand side. Also an official BR WR receipt dated September 1985 accompanies the clock, sadly with no location shown but the clock is known to have come from the Frome area. In working condition complete with pendulum and key.
