A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY LONG CASE CLOCK, by Andrew Bartley, Bristol, the enamel dial with rolling ship in arch, floral and shell spandrels, of eight day movement striking on a bell, the case with swan neck pediment with fluted frieze, attached fluted columns, the trunk with oblong door, canted fluted corners, inlaid with satinwood and ebony lines, on bracket feet, 88in. (223.5cms) high .
Inlaid rosewood and oak bracket clock, circa 1880, the triple fusee movement chiming on coils, brass arched face with silvered chapter ring, chime/silent, eight/four gongs, slow/fast, labelled "Reid & Sons, Newcastle" the architectural case with gilt brass Corinthian columns, raised on brass paw feet. Height 60cm (pendulum, door and winding keys)
Mahogany longcased clock, circa 1830, eight day striking movement on a broken arch painted face with rolling moon, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, named "J.Lovatt, Tunstall", in a swan neck hood on broad trunk with plain side columns and set out canted plinth. Height 230cm (winder, door key, 2 weights, pendulum).
Whithurst, Congleton oak longcased clock, circa 1790, eight day movement on brass broken arch face with silvered chapter ring, moon dial, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, inscribed J Whithurst, Congleton, in swan neck hood with door reeded pilaster and columns, on reeded corner trunk and canted corner set out plinth; the door, sides and plinth panel carved at a later date. A LATE 17TH CENTURY WALNUT AND SEAWEED MARQUETRY LONGCASE CLOCK having a square brass dial with raised spandrels and etched silvered chapter ring with second hand and date aperture, signed Anthony Hebert in Morefields, London, the case with later added oak pediment and brass ball finial, fine arabesque scroll decoration, on bracket feet, some restoration and reconstruction, 84" high overall.
