An Edwardian inlaid mahogany double fusee bracket clock, the movement by Dent, 4 Royal Exchange, London, number 53896, the case with caddy top with brass finial above the arched case and glazed circular door, with silvered brass dial with Arabic numerals and two-train fusee movement flanked by fluted quarter column corners with brass capitals, inlaid with a butterfly on the lower case and on stepped base raised on brass ball feet. Width 11 ins (see illustration).
A 19th century mahogany longcase clock by Samuel Bailey Newcastle, having three turned finials to the arched hood and glazed door enclosing the 13.5 inch arched painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary date and seconds dials and two-train striking movement flanked by hexagonal pillars, with short trunk door beneath and conforming base raised on turned legs. A George III Shropshire oak dresser with clock, having an arched moulded cornice above a glazed clock face door enclosing the 14 inch circular dial with eight day striking movement by Sam Newnes, Whitechurch, , Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds hand, date aperture, with trunk door beneath and further flanked on either side by a pair of panelled cupboard doors with centre shell medallions and mahogany crossbanding and with applied mouldings, the base fitted with three drawers with brass drop handles with octagonal backplates, with moulding below and raised on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. A William IV mahogany longcase clock by John Corbett of Glasgow, with fretwork pediment to the circular door enclosing the 13 inch circular dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary date and second hands and three-train movement and with keyhole shaped case raised on short turned feet. Height 80 ins.
A Rolex Tudor mid sized wristwatch, stainless steel case stamped "9050 0", with date aperture, Mercedes hands, orange and grey face with part Roman and part Arabic numerals with 24 hour clock to centre, black leather strap, the rear stamped "Rolex, Geneva", original Oyster case, in original Tudor case and outer box. A late 18th century mahogany eight day longcase clock, the broken arch pediment above square dial with silvered chapter ring, signed Geo Lupton, Altrincham, with subsidiary seconds and date dials, dentil and blind fret carving to case, total height 207cm. George Lupton of Altrincham is listed as operating from 1772 to 1795 (GH Baillie) (Illustrated).
