Georgian oak longcase clock, with broken swan-neck pediment, brass finials aidand roundels to the swan-neck, the painted broken arched dial gilt decorated with scrolls, swags and fruiting vine, having subsidiary calendar and seconds dial, inscribed:- R. Pugh Kerry", flanked by pair reeded brass topped fore-pillars, the trunk with cross banded panel above serpentine topped cross-banded door, flanked by pair inset fluted brass topped quadrant fore-pilasters, all on bracket feet, approximately 228 cm high overall

All in used and worn condition, some still boxed and sealed but boxes and packaging quite dented and with some repairs. A collection of Royal Doulton "The Snowman" gift and trinket wares, to include wall clock, ginger jar and cover, book shaped money box, etc (13) CONDITION REPORTS Overall with general wear and scuffs. The clock is boxed but the other items are not boxed. The lids of the jars have been selotaped on. The undersides of the items do not appear to bear any noticeable scratching out or cancellation marks, however we can make no guarantees as to whether these are first quality or not. The top of the beaker / egg cup has quite a rough feel so it's not known whether something is missing from the top. The tin has denting and fading. Various remnants of stickers and selotape.
A George III clock movement, George Tringham London in later mahogany case, the arch hood with fretted cresting and glazed door, the trunk with fluted canted corners, the arch brass dial with silverised chapter ring and Roman and Arabic numerals with strike/silent in arch and seconds and date indicator, the eight day five post movement striking on a bell, 235cm high to include brass ball finials
AMENDMENT TO CATALOGUE Height should be 230cm approximately. A good 18th century calendar long case clock by Joseph Tilley, London, the eight day, five pillar movement with silvered chapter ring and gilt brass cherub spandrels, the matted centre with silvered subsidiary seconds dial and three calendar apertures within an engraved cartouche, one shows the day of the month, another the day of the week and the third shows the phases of the moon, in a floral marquetry case with domed top, height 185cm. A grained pine, eight day, long case clock, the painted dial signed by a Hayle maker, the arch with a country house. Condition Report: Height including finials 208 cm. Generally the clock is in 'attic' condition. Some over painting to the dial. There is a possibility that it has been reduced. Signs of woodworm.
