Brass skeleton clockVictorian style with scroll plates, silvered Roman chapter ring, twin chain fusee movement, striking the hours on a silvered bell, upon a pink velvet covered mahogany base beneath a glass dome, complete with 'T' handle key. Clock 41cm high Minor tarnishing, winds, runs and strikes but not tested or guaranteed. 59cm high from base of plinth to the top of the dome. 41cm high is the clock on it's own, excluding the plinth/dome. We are unsure of the age, it is very good quality and certainly has age, not modern but may not be antique? It is mounted to a modern base.

Case with some general polishing and light restorations, small corner plinth section missing from the skirt, broken piece of edge moulding to bottom of trunk door. A William & Mary walnut, marquetry and oyster veneered longcase clock, the hood with barley twist pilasters, 10inch (25.5cm) unsigned dial with silvered chapter ring and winged mask spandrels, later associated 8 day movement, the trunk with sycamore and hardwood foliate panels and lenticle, boxwood banded oyster veneered sides, on a plinth base194.5cm highdial formerly with date aperture, now blanked off with careful patch (original winding holes also blanked off). Some patched veneers or moulding pieces. See photos. Attractive period case but movement/dial later.without any blocks accounted for the vertical aperture is 32cm and the horizontal aperture is 30cms.

A collection of three early - mid 20th century mantle clocks. The lot comprising a 1920s Art Deco chrome cased desk clock of rectangular form with chrome frame, Arabic numeral dial & mounted on stepped black & silver Deco base (Aged patina & some rusting); a mid century Ansonia Clock Company mahogany cased mantle clock with barley twist handle to top, geometric column pattern to either side & gilt metal surrounds; and a vintage circa 1950s Metamec mantlepiece electric clock with brass Roman numeral dial in mahogany case with stepped feet. Marked Metamec Dereham. Sold as untested. Larger (Ansonia clock) measures approx. 46cm x 33cm x 14cm.
