Small boulle balloon shaped two train bracket clock, the movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, the 3" repousse dial with Roman cartouche enamel numerals above a pendulum window within an ornate waisted case surmounted by a caddy top and foliate finial, 11.75" high; together with a matching bracket (a.f)
EARLY 20TH CENTURY WALNUT TWO TRAIN ARCHITECTURAL BRACKET CLOCK having arched silvered foliate engraved face with Roman numerals, arch foliate pierced panels to the side and brass square plate two train movement striking on one gong. 36.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Fretwork panels to the sides have both suffered losses in places, otherwise in fair if a little dry condition overall. Not tested.
LATE 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONG CASE CLOCK by Budgen of Croydon, the case having arched hood with brass ball and spike finials above arched aperture flanked by reeded, canted angles, the waist with moulded arch door flanked by reeded canted angles on a panelled base with bracket feet and shaped apron. 42cm x 35.5cm brass face having foliate pierced spandrels, Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. Eight day, two train movement, striking on one bell. 239cm approx. CONDITION REPORT: Overall appearing in good original condition, plain field to the face suggests possible lacking decoration, otherwise good, includes two weights and pendulum. Backboard behind movement has a circular hole covered with a piece of cardboard.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK EIGHT DAY LONG CASE CLOCK marked: James Evans, Carmarthen and having broken swan neck pediment with ball and eagle brass finial above arched aperture, flanked by baluster turned columns, the waist with canted angles and cross banded, shaped door on a platform base with bracket supports. Arched, painted face with fox hunting scene and churches, having Roman numerals, seconds dial and date aperture. 47cm x 32cm. Eight day two train movement, striking on one bell. 223.5cm high approx. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition for age, the name painted on the face has been poorly done. Scuffs and wear commensurate with age. Two weights and pendulum.
VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD DROP DIAL WALL CLOCK, the octagonal head with foliate brass inlays around a painted face with Roman numerals marked: R. Wuitzmankla, Cardiff. Two train movement, striking on one bell, the face 21.5cm diameter, overall 41cm high. Probably German. CONDITION REPORT: Rather grubby and worn but appearing complete and including key and pendulum.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK 30 HOUR LONG CASE CLOCK by Evan Williams of Trecastle, the case having flat hood over arched aperture, flanked by baluster and ring turned columns, the strung outlined waist with moulded rectangular door flanked by canted angles, strung inlaid panel base with bracket feet. 44.5 x 30.5cm painted face with Scotsman figure to the arch, painted shell spandrels, Roman numerals and date aperture. Overall 112cm high. CONDITION REPORT: May have been reduced, otherwise good condition, face has been well re-painted.
