A late 19th century mahogany cased drop-dial wall clock. Retailed by George Rossiter (High Street, Weston-Super-Mare). With white painted dial and black Roman numerals, the interior of the case labelled for Seth Thomas (USA), with glazed drop viewing panel, with pendulum and key, 58.5cm high

The brass face engraved with baskets of flowers, centred with a silvered plaque inscribed Tempus Fugit, with silvered chapter ring and black Roman numerals, the case japanned in black and green with chinoiserie landscape vignettes, with striking Parisian movement and key, on brass bun feet, 23cm high Condition Report: Overall in good order although clocks are not sold in working order. Hasnds rotate, it will strike and ticks.
A late 19th century Leroy & Fils (Paris & London) brass striking carriage alarm clock. The white enamelled dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary Arabic alarm dial below, the movement also marked for Leroy & Fils, Palais Royal, numbered 15497, with key and fitted in original leather case, the clock 14cm high Condition Report: This clock is ticking and striking, we dont warrant it for keeping good time and would benefit from a service.
A late 19th century Bristol Goldsmiths' Alliance mahogany cased single fusee chain-driven wall clock. With white painted dial with black Roman numerals, with pendulum and key, 46cm diam. inc. frame Condition Report: Due to the mechanical nature of the working of the clock, we cannot guarantee that it is in working order. However, its ticks and runs when wound. Hands rotate. There is a key. The pendulum appears to be brass covered lead and appears to be original. The movement is stamped G.B and E.LTD London. The dial is of pressed tin. There is some damage and losses to the lower pendulum flap, the beading is partly lacking here. There are three small holes to back plate. The glazed door has a latch that is working and secure. The dial has some retouching to black painted numerals and maker. There is some slight crazing to the painted white dial and a small area of flaking at edge between 5-6 o'clock, there are further small chips to the edge of the dial, these are mainly concealed behind the glazed door, there is one screw missing to the painted dial. One part of hinge to the glazed door is damaged with old solder repair but it still functions and stays in place. Minor wear and scuffing to the wooden case.
An early 19th century mahogany longcase clock by John Russell of Falkirk. The arched white painted dial with Roman numerals and two subsidiary dials, named for JNO Russell/Falkirk, with spirally carved columns and pierced hood, crossbanded and inlaid with chequered stringing overall, on bracket feet, with pendulum, winder and two weights, approx. 205cm high Condition Report: Clocks are not sold in working order. The hands rotate, Some wear and rubbing to dial, with later retouching to the maker's name and to the numerals, there is small circular chip to white painted dial, two further small circular shaped chips to the white painted dial which may have been restuck. The subsidiary dials are lacking any markings. Some wear and surface scratching to case, most noticeably to door and base. Some damages and losses to feet and mouldings at base, the two back feet are later replacement blocks. The columns to hood are loose and lacking screws to one brass fitting, lacking top cornice moulding with small section of damage to dentil frieze, lacking glazed door, with some losses and damages to one pierced oval to side of hood. With later replacement lock and key to case. Together with documentation relating to the restoration of the clock (in circa 1997) and with information relating the maker John Russell of Falkirk.

Mounted with a ceramic urn decorated with a bird and topped with a gilt metal finial, the pink dial with Roman numerals and painted with flowers, the moulded case with a central panel featuring a scene of a courting couples, with striking mechanism and pendulum, raised on paw feet, H43cm, mounted on a wooden base with a glass dome, H50cm total Condition Report: The mechanism is free and winds but doesn't seem to function. The back plate is missing and there are cracks in the case at the rear. The guilding is rubbed on the corners of the plinth
