A drop dial wall clock, the 28 cm diameter painted dial with Roman numerals signed J Maple & Co London, fitted a single fusee movement, in a mahogany case, 49.5 cm high See illustration Condition report Report Key and pendulum present when catalogued. Please note that Charterhouse do not guarantee the working condition of any watch or clock. The dial is dirty, with the lettering worn, and the numerals have been retouched. The case is also dirty, is cracked in two places at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. There is also some damage at the 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock position. The carving on the drop dial to the left hand side has a glue repair. The side door on the right hand side of the back case has been replaced with a metal plate. The movement is dirty and requires cleaning and servicing.

The first watch with painted dial landscape: the dial has a hairline crack, running from the 9.00 o'clock to 11 o'clock position, plus other usual light scratches of wear, and the watch is running. The second watch: the dial has a small chip and crack on the rim at the 8 o'clock position. The glass is present, but currently detached. The case has general wear, scratches, small dents etc, and the watch is currently running.

The outer wooden case has general knocks, bruises etc of general wear. The inner brass mount for the timepiece has general wear, and is tarnished. The dial of the timepiece is in good condition, without visible cracks or chips. The movement is running, no guarantee implied or given.
A carriage clock, with repeat, the 7 cm wide enamel dial signed St James, London, with Roman numerals and subsidiary alarm dial, in a brass four pillar case, 17.5 cm high Condition report Report by JB General markings and light rubbing to case. Some discolouration noticeable around the door. Some slight markings and rubbings noticeable to the dial, including a circular mark/scratch consistent with the hour hand moving round. A few dark spots, loss of enamel can be observed to the lower dial section around the centre, otherwise intact. Clock does not appear to currently run and balance wheel stops and starts.
