Light surface scratches to the brass and some small areas of tarnishing. A couple of tiny dents to the brass on the front left corner of the clock. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details. Unable to state whether or not the clock is in full working order.

A 19th Century gilt brass cased mantel clock the eight day movement by Japy Freres of Paris the circular painted porcelain dial with central river landscape decoration inscribed Ernest Miroy Paris within a chapter ring of Roman numerals over a further painted panel depicting two figures in an interior flanked by further river landscapes raised on lions paw feet and carved giltwood stand CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches. A build up of dust in areas. Accretions. Small areas of tarnishing to the brass. The raised white dot of enamel below the number 11 has partially come away. The gilt wood base has some wear and there are splits to the silk lining on the base. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
