A pair of 19th century Kangxi style powder blue chargers, decorated with pheasant above peony, chrysanthemum and rockwork and kite within double blue ring mark verso. Diameter 41.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both chargers are in good physical order and ring out nicely when lightly struck. The gilding around the cartouches is rubbed (one more so that the other). One plate has an old collectors label attached verso. Both are ever so slightly misshapen but this is not detrimental in my opinion. One plate has a small scar on the rim (approximately 10 o'clock if looking on a clock face) where there has been a reaction in the glaze. Other that those faults mentioned these are a nice decorative pair of plates.
A ladies gilt metal and enamel boudoir clock, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and floral decoration above a central panel depicting a courting couple in a naturalistic landscape framed by enamelled pillars with further figures within a gilt frame and with scrolls and shells, easel support. Height 14 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock dial has a very fine crack running from the bottom of the Roman numeral I to the bottom of II and terminating at the top of the Roman numeral III. This cannot be seen without using a jewellers loop, and is not visible to the naked eye. The enamel panels all appear to be in good order with no obvious faults. The pillars rotate and may need tightening up. On the left hand pillar there is a small chip on the lady's skirt running to the bottom of her foot. There are also a couple of very tiny nibbles to the top of the pillar beneath the capital. The right hand pillar appears to be almost intact however there is a very tiny circular chip/bruise just below the gentleman's right foot (approximately 5 mm away). The metalwork all appears to be in good order and the clock works.

CONDITION REPORT: The image does not fully fit the frame. There are 46 vacant cloisons in the enamelled border which should be filled with white enamels forming to leaves. On the reverse the blue glass has a triangular section missing. There is a further crack to the blue glass located between 5 & 6 if looking on a clock dial.
An Aspreys travelling alarm clock, mid 20th century, with square silvered dial with Roman numerals all in a folding green leather case, a pair of folding tortoiseshell and gold coloured metal mounted glasses, in leather case by Theodore Hamblin Ltd., a brass bookmark, the terminal as a cats face the opposing end a mouse on an alabaster block, a silver mounted bookmark, whist marker in the form of a rotating hand on a marked dial and a pair of lorgnettes (6). CONDITION REPORT: The 19th Century ivory and turned wood counteriis in good condition throughout other than a small piece of material to the underside missing but this does not detract in any shape or form. The folding glasses in the case are in good order throughout. The lorgnettes may have been gilded previously but this has worn away leaving the base metal however they are still in working, serviceable order. The silver mounted bookmark is in good order. The gilded brass bookmark with cat mask terminal has the glass eyes still inset. The mouse on block on the opposite end of the ribbon is in good order albeit the alabaster block does have some very slight rub mark around the edges. On the whole this is a very good lot and faults would be basically wear and tear that is commensurate with age.

An Edwardian inlaid rosewood mantle clock, with two-train spring driven movement and silvered brass dial with Roman numerals. Width 16.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. Unfortunately we do not however have a pendulum and cannot tell if the movement is ticking away as it ought. The movement does look very clean and we cannot see any visible signs of any problems. The case itself is in extremely good general condition. There are some minor stress fractures to the veneers but no significant issues. The silvered dial is in very good order as are all of the numerals. The lift out rear door to the case is missing.

A French boulle marquetry mantle clock, with single-train movement, "Examined by John Barker & Co. Ltd., Kensington, London". Height 32 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds and is currently ticking away. The face is in good order with only slight fading to the numerals. The watch glass is a little dirty but in good condition. All metalwork is present but is quite badly tarnished. The simulated tortoiseshell sides have sprung away from the main body of the clock. There are however no losses. The brass fretwork is slightly lifting to the front and right hand corners of the caddy top. There is also further lifting above the face and a small loss between numerals 9 & 10. There is also slight lifting to the brasswork below the numeral 6. The movement housing is a little loose and requires a pin to locate. We do not have a key. We are wondering if the lifting simulated tortoiseshell to the sides of the clock is in fact original. There may be later replacements.
A 19th century rosewood cased carriage clock, the enamelled dial marked "Henry Marc Paris", two-train movement striking on a bell. Height excluding carrying handle 13.5 cm, width 11 cm. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock winds on both trains. It appears to strike as it should when the hands are advanced. The case is in extremely good condition. The brass handle is a little tarnished. The front glass is in good condition, The side panels are in good order as is the brass work. The rear hinges and door handle are original and in good order. There is a hairline running from the centre of the dial across to the numeral three and other areas of the dial are very slightly discoloured.
