The door is not warped. The veneer is a little dry in places but there are no losses. The columns and applied carvings are very dirty but in good condition and all present. There are no cracks to the glass. We have the key, pendulum and weight. We have not had the movement working, however, it does wind. The face is a little discoloured. The bezel surrounding the dial is tarnished and discoloured. The door is pinned into place and requires re-pinning as it is very loose and easily detaches. The bottom turned drop finial is missing.

A continental brass mantle clock, in the rococo style with two train striking movement. Height 40 cm, width 24 cm, depth 13 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case and dial are in generally good order with no issues. The case is simply dirty. The movement winds on both trains and strikes when advanced. The escapement is currently ticking away however we do not have a pendulum.
A Georgian mahogany musical longcase clock by Ferguson of Dundee, playing six tunes on nine bells, the three train movement also striking, the case with well figured trunk door flanked by canted angles and with conforming base. Height 220 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The hand to select the tunes is missing. The tunes are - Masons Song, Balance a Straw, God Save The King, A Cotillion, Lovely Nancy and Corn Rigs. We have the weights and pendulum. The movement winds on all three trains. We have had the mechanism ticking but not striking or playing the tunes. The case is in reasonably good condition with no major issues. The hood is in good order all round with only minor stress fractures to the mahogany in places. The door is not warped. The long trunk door is well figured. It is very slightly warped when closed at the top left-hand corner. The lock plate is present as is the rear of the lock (which is detached). We have no key. There is a small piece of moulding to the left of the lock escutcheon which is detached. We have the piece. The sides of the trunk are in generally good condition. The base has stress fractures to the veneers on the front panel. The bracket feet are all present and in good order. The backboard has some minor traces of what appears to be old long gone woodworm. The seat board to the movement is not original and it is possible that the cheeks on which it rests have been cut down. With the door open it is possible to read the tune plate and the mask around the dial does fit fairly well. It is when the door is closed that the tune plate is not fully visible. The seat board to the movement is not original and it is possible that the cheeks on which it rests have been cut down. With the door open it is possible to read the tune plate and the mask around the dial does fit fairly well. It is when the door is closed that the tune plate is not fully visible.
A George III mahogany longcase clock by Samuel Jordan Chatham, eight day with striking movement, dial width 11 1/4", case height 198 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The case is in extremely good order with no issues. It looks to have been fairly recently clean and polished. All brasswork is present and original. The trunk door is not warped. There is a key and non-original lock. There is no evidence of any woodworm. The movement winds on both trains and seems to be ticking away and striking when advanced. The seatboard sits between the cheeks rather than on top so the case and movement may possibly be a marriage. The dial does however fit the mask correctly with no significant gaps. We have the winding key, both weights and pendulum.
A late Georgian mahogany longcase clock, with fretwork pediment arched painted dial and two train striking movement with long trunk door flanked by quarter round columns. Height including finial 230 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Whilst we have not had the movement running as we do not have a pendulum, when weight is applied to the going train it does operate. When the hands are manually advanced the strike mechanism also operates when weight is applied. The movement is however very dirty. The bell is currently detached. The face condition should be visible from our images. We have all three metal finials. The left one is detached. The fretwork has some fractures but is all present. The hood is in generally good order and the glass original and not cracked. The door is not warped. The trunk door is also not warped and closes as it should. We have the key and lock. The sides of the case are in generally good condition. The base has some veneer losses to the extremities and around the legs and the bottom base narrow applied moulding is missing in places.

The panels to the base are also in generally good order. Again some of the white applied jewels are missing. There is some rubbing to the gilding also. All metalwork is in in very good condition and simply dusty. The accompanying urns are in good order with some missing jewels and rubbing to the gilding in places. Again the metalwork to both urns is in very good order. The fabric to the wooden base of the clock is perishing and there is some rubbing to the gilding on the wooden base. The bases for the urns are in better condition with less perishing and fading. The garniture is not under a glass dome.

The case has minor nicks and blemishes to the extremities and a small loss to the front left foot. It is generally a little dirty. There is also a detached section of leaf to the left-hand side below the outstretched ladies arm. We have the piece which requires fixing back into place. We have the key and pendulum. Whilst we have had the movement ticking away in the saleroom we have not observed this for any length of time.

Height 218 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The 30 hour movement is complete with weight and pendulum. It appears to be ticking away and striking when advanced. The hood door glass is broken. The door is however not warped. There has been a repair to the left-hand swans neck. There are minor nibbles to the extremities of the hood and shrinkage to some joints. The main trunk door is not significantly warped and closes as it should. The sides of the trunk are in good condition. The base is all original. Again there is a stress fracture down the centre join. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.

CONDITION REPORT: The bracket is in generally good condition with no major problems. The black painted top has numerous scuffs and scratches and four carved indentations presumably to hold the feet of a clock. The Boulle marquetry to the front is principally intact with only very minor lifting and no losses of any significance. The left-hand side is also in generally good order with minor lifting of the brass and very small losses to the tortoiseshell. There are some old repairs. The right-hand side is in similar condition. There are some areas which are lifting slightly more than the left-hand side but again no significant losses.

A late 19th century school type wall clock, with two train spring driven movement. Case diameter 46 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement is fully wound on the going train. It does wind on the strike train and strikes when advanced. We do not have a pendulum with this clock and have not had it running. The face is under glass and is a little discoloured in places. The original dial finish appears to have rubbed numerals 2, 3-4 and 6-10. The case is in generally good condition with no major issues and only minor scratches and marks as one would probably expect.

CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on all three trains. We have the pendulum. The clock does tick for a short period but then stops. The movement seems to strike as it should when advanced manually. The face is reasonably clean although the silvering around all dials is rubbed. The bevelled glass door when viewed from the front is in good condition. There are however two small chips around the retaining nails when viewed from the inside. The mahogany case is in generally good order but could do with a polish. All metalwork is tarnished and dirty. The block beneath the centre pineapple is a different colour. Perhaps the case originally had a handle. The side grilles are dirty but in good structural order. The gilding to the feet is largely gone. We do have the key. The grille to the rear door is buckled but is present.
