A German Arts and Crafts 'Gesamtkunstwerk' mantle clock c1890 in a square formed iron case with abalone incised triangles to each corner, case raised on four legs with inward facing feet, convex copper chapter ring hand engraved with upright Arabic numerals, conforming copper hands in an individual style, with an eight-day spring driven rack striking movement manufactured by Lenzkirch, striking the hours and half hours on a bell, conforming steel pendulum with a hand-crafted faceted pear-shaped copper bob. With key.Lenzkirch were one of the most prolific and respected German clock manufacturers of the 19th and early 20th century, it is highly probable that this movement was removed from another clock and incorporated into this artisan case when made at the end of the 19th century.Dimensions: Height: 28cm  Length/Width: 12cm  Depth/Diameter: 12cm
