CONDITION REPORTS: Some gilt loss/wear, two feet lacking, some fritting to marble, some slight wear to dials, name to dial rubbed, general wear.
A 19th century cloisonne decorated bronze mantel clock The domed finial mounted top above the cloisonne decorated dial with Arabic numerals and twin winding apertures over a further cloisonne decorated panel, flanked by turned columns, standing on a spreading plinth base with bun feet. 28.5 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some splits, veneer patches, old woodworm damage, repairs to back and to underside of base, some tarnishing and wear to dial, weights lacking.
A Georgian Irish mahogany longcase clock The broken swan neck pediment centred with a shell, the brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals inscribed Thomas Blundell, Dublin, above the plain panelled mahogany case, standing on ogee bracket feet. 244 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some patched veneer repairs, some losses, carved elements to hood possibly later applied, base panel loose, weights and pendulum lacking, not guaranteed in working order, general wear.
A miniature Cartier enamelled carriage clock Decorated with blue and yellow enamels, the circular dial with Arabic numerals inscribed Cartier, housed in a plush lined leather carrying case inscribed Cartier. The clock 5.25 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally good, some surface wear, dial slightly worn, case tatty and possibly associated.
A late 19th century Continental silver mounted amethyst desk clock Of shaped balloon form, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, the florally pierced silver border decorated with various jewelled stones, standing on a domed plinth base and housed in original plush lined case. 9.75 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: One cabochon missing, base slightly loose, some slight fritting, crack to reverse, general wear, slight wear to case.
An early 20th century Continental unmarked white metal enamel decorated travelling strut clock The circular dial with Arabic numerals, set on a blue guilloche enamel background above a pierced panel of boats with a further enamel panel, housed in original plush lined carrying case. The clock 10 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some slight enamel wear/loss, general wear, slight wear to case.
An early 19th century Russian silver, diamond and enamel mounted malachite desk clock, in the style of Carl Faberge, stamped for 88 zolotniks, with maker's mark of AR The rectangular main body mounted with an Imperial eagle finial and set with an engine turned gilt dialled clock with Arabic numerals bordered by a narrow band of enamelled laurel wreath decoration inset with four small diamonds, the plinth base with central scrolling floral and anthemion spandrel above the cast winged paw feet. 14 cms high. Note: Marks of workmasters whose signatures appear in conjunction with Faberge's mark but have not been identified include AR. Similar elements of this clock can be found on various Faberge items including on pages 38 and 130 of Carl Faberge Goldsmith to the Imperial Court of Russia by Snowman, published by Debrett and entry 105 in Faberge of the Russian Master Goldsmiths by Gerard Hill. CONDITION REPORTS: Some cracks/restorations to malachite, some scuffing and scratching, general wear, clock face glass missing.
