A late 19th Century gilt brass and marble mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the enamel dial with Arabic numerals and flower festoons, the drum case with urn surmount above a pair of columns flanking a brass sunburst pendulum, on a plinth base and circular feet, height approx 41cm.
A 19th Century brass noctuary or nightwatchman`s four pillar clock movement, the dial inscribed `Whitehurst & Son, Derby` and `No. 494`, framed by a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals, height approx 15cm, with pendulum (faults). Note: John Whitehurst III (1788-1855) was the third generation of the family to make clocks in Derby; he was apprenticed to his father in 1809 and was thereafter in partnership with him until his father`s death in 1834. Whitehurst & Son of Derby was one of only three clockmakers invited to tender for the Westminster clock in 1846.

An early 19th Century oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the silvered circular dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, date aperture and inscribed `Nelson`, the hood with swan neck pediment above an inlaid dentil cornice, turned pillars and a glazed door, the crossbanded trunk door flanked by fluted corner columns on a crossbanded base and bracket feet, height approx 230cm, with pendulum and weight.
A George III figured mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with rolling moon to arch above Roman numerals, subsidiary date dial and inscribed `Josh Walker, Workington`, cornered with four figures representing Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, the hood with swan neck pediment above floral painted panels, glazed door and turned columns, the crossbanded and ebony line inlaid trunk door above a similarly decorated base and bracket feet, height approx 231cm, with pendulum and two weights.
