An early 19th century mahogany drop dial fusee wall clockthe 12" white painted dial with black Roman numerals and minute track signed John Sleepe, Liskeard, single fusee movement with anchor escapement, the case with glazed lenticle and acanthus carved earsheight 50 cm.Condition: Winds, ticks and runs however no guarantee can be offered as to the full working order. Dial is is clean but possibly been retouched. Case has been repolished, in good tidy restored condition. Section of replaced veneer top right of lenticle, see extra image.Pendulum, winding key and case keys present. There are two pegs to each side which when removed allow the face and workings to be lifted out.
