TIFFANY FURNACES INC/360; Movement stamped CHELSEA CLOCK CO./BOSTON U.S.A./159365 14.5cm high, 14cm wide, 10cm deep Condition Report: There is some missing enamel, particularly to two of the lower right hand squares, some bruising/repair to the enamel rectangle in top right corner and peach enamel to top left corner circle has rubbed away. Lots of patchiness and rubbing and a fair bit of oxidation to the metal. The underside is really marked and scratched, but this is out of view.In this sale, the timepiece is being offered for its decorative/design merit and we have not had the movement tested (and are unfortunately unable to provide this service). Condition of enamel is in the most part good - the enamel has just rubbed away at the tails where it crosses the clock face. Some of the sepia staining has rubbed away with age. Small internal fracture- possibly in the making. Otherwise in good condition and presents well. Please note the clock is 15cm high.In this sale, the timepiece is being offered for its decorative/design merit, and we have not had the movement tested (and are unfortunately unable to provide this service). Y ART DECO (BRITISH) A HALL CLOCK; MID 20TH CENTURY Glass, chromed metal, burr fruitwood veneer stepped foot and trapezoid clock face, bone handle to back of clock face Movement stamped Made in England 160.5cm high, 35cm wide, 25.5cm deep Condition Report: The glass is in very good condition. The foot has one small split to the veneer and a small knock to the back edge, but presents well. The clock face has a few vertical splits to the veneer in line with the grain of the wood, the one on the left side has lifted/raised from the surface. The reverse with multiple small splits to the veneer, vertical, and horizontal on the door. We sell the clocks in Design sales based on their decorative merit only, but we have on this occasion had our clock specialist look at it, it is not currently working - but he feels it would just need a light service to get it working again.Condition Report Disclaimer

A Continental polychrome decorated majolica game tureen decorated with various dead game, together with plain cream ware glazed pottery liner, 27 cm x 21 cm x 18 cm high together with a Royal Worcester porcelain blue scale gilt and floral spray decorated cased mantel clock shape 2373, the movement with floral swag decorated porcelain dial and Arabic numerals, 17.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Mantel clock: There is crazing throughout. No key or pendulum. Wear to the brass mounts. General wear and tear throughout and in need of a good clean. See images for more details.
An oak cased dome top mantel clock, the single fusee movement by Elliott Ltd, numbered to back plate 19001-1941, the circular silvered dial with Roman numerals inscribed with RAF logo of crown and wreath, 40.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Feels very tight/over wound. Pendulum present, key not. When pendulum is knocked, it does move freely and the minute hand moves in time - this doesn't last long however. The back door of the clock appears to be a replacement, much cheaper wood. The glass is mucky in need of a clean as is the brasswork. The wood veneer around the push button area is risen slightly to the underneath and the glass cover has dropped and is cutting into the wood. The glass cover hinge has clearly had some work, the bottom screw, although tight, the hinge is loose around it and as per the top screw. The face itself has some marks to it including some scratches, particularly around the winding hole. Otherwise general wear and tear to include some chips to the veneer, scuff marks etc. In need of a clean and some TLC - see images for more details.
