A BRITISH PORCELAIN GILT DUCK EWER, ROYAL WORCESTER, CIRCA 1888of squated baluster form with a single handle formed as a gilt duck with the mouth open, the spout is formed as a duck with gilt beak, the body with a forget me knot floral motif with gilt leaves, alternating with a carved rosette panels, all against a cream and gilt ground, stamped with factory mark in purple underglaze, Rd No. 41792 and 1130 and incised 1130 under base; overall height: 28 cm (11 in.) CONDITION The ewer appears in good original condition. Minor rubbing to the gilt details. Minor surface scuffs to the body visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV shows no apparent signs of restoration or repairs. N.B. All lots are sold in as-is condition at the time of sale.
