A Worcester shell shaped dessert dish, square shaped dish and a small lobed plate with ozier moulded borders and printed with the gillyflower pattern. Crescent marks c1775. Square dish 24cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Square dish with a long repaired cracked. The other two pieces in good condition.
A collection of Worcester tea wares decorated in coloured enamels with bouquets and scattered sprigs with gilt rims. Comprising of; a saucer dish, cream jug and cover, tea bowl, cup and saucer. Underglaze square seal marks c 1775. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Small chip to the under rim of the saucer dish. Cream jug finial restored. The other three pieces in good order.
A Worcester faceted teacup and saucer. With blue ground panels gilded and painted with mons separated alternating paintings of prunus blossom and chrysanthemums in the Kakiemon style. A rare Worcester flared hexagonal cream boat, with a square section handle having upturned thumb rest and a geranium leaf moulded spout. A rare and perhaps unique Worcester high Chelsea ewer. Painted on one side with the Chelsea Ewer Sprays and the other with a landscape framed within trailing scrolls incorporating a lone figure with trees and birds. Workman's mark c 1758-62, 8cm. John Sandon commented in a letter to J. P Fahy dated 4 January 2000 that this was "undoubtedly a new pattern." Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Handle re attached and the connecting points restored. Some restoration to the rim of the sprays side.
