The Book of Common Prayer..., Oxford University Press, 1784, bookplates of Viscount Birkenhead and Reginald Roose Francis to front endpapers, all edges gilt, contemporary blue crushed morocco gilt, large gilt circular design with inlaid red sections and small floral tools to both covers, somewhat rubbed, 4to A contemporary manuscript note in a neat hand to front free endpaper verso reads: 'This book appropriated to the use of Charlotte Sophia, Queen of Great Britain, at Worcester Cathedral, when their Majesties & the royal family visited that city in 1788; Was presented by Mrs Ann Bowyer to her esteemed friend James Forbes, 1790'. The following four pages before the title comprise manuscript prayers in the same hand. (1)

A pair of Royal Worcester conical vases decorated with panels of bouquets and fruit within gilt border on blue ground housed in pierced hallmarked silver vases, height 22.5cm. Condition - one vase crazed and with hairline, no further damage, no repairs, general wear to include slight rubbing on hallmarks, wear to gilding and painted decoration.
