Pair of Royal Worcester porcelain side plates hand painted with pheasants amongst foliage, signed Bedgley. Puce printed marks to the base, late 19th Century. 15.5cm diameter approx. Louis Gustave Siever (born 1854): a pair of 19th Century porcelain plaques painted with a male figure in pinks and a female figure in blues, each signed and dated to the front 'G. Siever 86' and ink stamped to the back 'Siever London', 28.5 x 39.5cms.Note: According to the 1881 census, Louis Gustave Siever (born 1854), a native of Grenoble who is described as an "artiste-painter" lodged with the family of Samuel Ranford, one of the factory's finest porcelain decorators, at 9 College Yard Precincts, Worcester. Other Siever pieces have been painted on plaques from the Worcester and Wedgwood factories.

Grainger jug with crack in the body.
