Pair of Royal Worcester porcelain side plates hand painted with pheasants amongst foliage, signed Bedgley. Puce printed marks to the base, late 19th Century. 15.5cm diameter approx. (2)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Both appear to have hair cracks which are visible from the under side and there is crazing to the reverse also.

A Royal Worcester commemorative Golden Jubilee Scent Bottle, in ivory coloured porcelain, picked out in blue and gilding with a silver crown screw top, moulded with the head of the monarch, inscribed '1837 VICTORIA 1887', the reverse with' INDIA', 'CANADA' and 'AUSTRALIA', moulded with emblems of the union, printed mark in gilding including registration number 56943, 9cms.
Louis Gustave Siever (born 1854): a pair of 19th Century porcelain plaques painted with a male figure in pinks and a female figure in blues, each signed and dated to the front 'G. Siever 86' and ink stamped to the back 'Siever London', 28.5 x 39.5cms.Note: According to the 1881 census, Louis Gustave Siever (born 1854), a native of Grenoble who is described as an "artiste-painter" lodged with the family of Samuel Ranford, one of the factory's finest porcelain decorators, at 9 College Yard Precincts, Worcester. Other Siever pieces have been painted on plaques from the Worcester and Wedgwood factories.
A First Period Worcester fluted tea bowl, circa 1770, decorated with an internal river landscape, the exterior with insects and flowers, open crescent mark in underglaze-blue, 8cms diameter; and a Spode 2573 pattern saucer for a covered chocolate cup, circa 1820, decorated with a band of pink roses on a blue and gilt ground, script mark and pattern number in iron-red, 13.5cms diameter. Grainger jug with crack in the body.
