An assortment of Victorian 19th century English fine bone china items. The lot to include a Copeland Spode fine bone china hand painted tea cup & saucer decorated with gilt foliate patterns, a Royal Worcester bone china cup & saucer decorated with floral & gilt foliate patterns, together with a finely hand painted two handled cachepot with birds. Twin handled cup measuring approx. Tallest measures 10cm tall.
A pair of Limoges enamel vases,19th century, of oval form, in the manner of Thomas Bott for Kerr & Binns of Worcester, decorated with putti, on gilt scroll legs,7cm wide16cm high (2)Condition ReportRestoration to legs. One leg is broken but present, meaning the vase does not stand. Hevay restoration to one lid. Both have historic restoration to the rims. In need of attention.
A collection of enamel pill boxescomprising two examples by Halcyon Days, the largest 2.5cm high, two examples by Bilston And Battersea Enamels, the miniature, 0.6cm high, two further pieces by Limoges and Strachan, together with other similar items,to include spode snuff bottle, a foliate painted egg, 6.5cm high, and a group of thimbles, examples by Royal Worcester and Royal Albert (qty.)Condition ReportNo obvious chips to enamel. Rubbing to decoration in places. Minor surface scratches and general imperfections commensurate with age and use evident to all. Thimbles good, apart from slight rubbing to gilding.
A large Royal Worcester blush ivory ewer, the frieze decorated with cherubs and grotesque masks, the body enamel decorated with flowers, on a circular foot, puce date mark verso, shape No.1742, registration No.233064, 43 cm and another smaller, hemispherical blush ivory body beneath a gilt dragon handle, shape 1048, Rd. No.21627, green date code, 19cm, both without visible damage or repair, light wear from ordinary use (2)
