Smokebox numberplate 7005 ex GWR Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1946 and named Lamphey Castle, renamed Sir Edward Elgar in August 1957. Allocated to 85A Worcester from where it was withdrawn in September 1964. Scrapped the following year at Cohens Morriston Swansea. In lovely original condition.
Nameplate BURMINGTON GRANGE ex GWR Collett Grange 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1937 and numbered 6829. Allocated to Newton Abbot, Exeter, Ebbw Junction, Pontypool Road, Bristol Barrow Road and 85A Worcester from where it was withdrawn in November 1965. Scrapped the following year at Cashmores Newport. In lightly cleaned condition and stamped 6829L in the back indicating this is the left hand plate.
Nameplate DARTMOUTH CASTLE ex Great Western Railway Collett Castle 4-6-0 built at Swindon in 1925 and numbered 4088. Allocations included Laira, Newton Abbot, Stafford Road, Penzance, Old Oak Common, Worcester, Swindon and 82B Bristol St Philips Marsh from where it was withdrawn in November 1963. Scrapped the following year at Cohens Morriston. In lightly cleaned original condition and stamped in the back LOT 232 No6 L indicating this is the left hand plate.
GWR oak cased Pork Pie wall clock with an English Smiths movement and the dial marked GWR 0553. Measures 6in diameter overall and is in working condition. It is recorded as having been issued new in 1934 to Devizes, 1939 to Westbury, 1946 to Yeovil Penn Mill and lastly 1950 to Worcester Loco Depot Timekeepers Office.
