An attractive First Period Worcester coffee cup, painted in purple monochrome with two Chinese figures, one pointing to a departing ship, the other seated beside a large jar, flanked by sprays, with inner trailing floral border, having scalloped rim and grooved loop handle, 6cm h, c1760 (see illustration) ++ A few very light glaze scratches. A pair of Royal Worcester figural candlesticks of a lady and gallant, in 18th c dress, standing before a stump on a rustic circular base and painted in a subdued palette heightened in turquoise and gilt, 27cm h, impressed or printed marks and 76 for 1876 (see illustration) ++ Man - two fine hairline cracks, possibly firing cracks to the basket candle sconce and localised light crazing of the glaze where it has pooled. Woman - in comparable condition. No restoration

No damage as such, nor is there any restoration

Worcester dish - with stacking wear and the gilding on the rim mostly all worn off
A Caughley spirally fluted polychrome tea bowl and saucer, decorated at Chamberlain's Worcester in the L'Amité pattern, saucer 14cm diam, c1780; a Coalport mug, painted with two landscapes and gilt with the monogram ER, the rims and handle also gilt, 7cm h, c1840; a Continental gilt ground coffee can and stand, possibly Paris, painted with alternating vine leaves and bunches of black grapes on marbled panels, c1800 (5) ++ Caughley tea bowl and saucer - light wear to the gilding on the rim, on the underside of the saucer a star crack which appears to be glaze depth only and cannot be seen from the front. The two other items in the lot in very fine condition
