An unusual pair of circa 1883 Worcester porcelain (Kate Greenaway) noveltysugar sifters modelled by James Hadley as a corpulent young boy and a young girl; gilt-highlighted and with printed marks to undersides (the female figure 17cm high). Together with a late 19th century Worcester porcelain spill vase modelled as a young boy carrying a woven wicker basket, printed and impressed marks to underside (3)Condition Report: The young boy holding the wicker basket has a section of flat porcelain away to the underside of the base although this may have been part of the firing process - otherwise this piece is OK. The female sifter appears to be in good general overall original condition and the young boy sifter similarly so with the gilding appearing bright.
