The thirty sixth foot now called the Worcester Regiment was posted to Malta in 1817, an Ensign Frederick Liardet is recorded as having been posted to Malta in September 1823 (see Malta family history, the British Army Garrison in Malta 1799-1827) it is possible that Ensign Frederick Liardet purchased this book from the library of the Knights of Malta.
